Observation: A juvenile described by AAP as a sub-Antarctic fur seal was first seen resting on the beach. A local resident returned that evening and found it badly injured; it was later euthanised. Species is attributed to AAP and left out of the structured species field.

Observation: One seal repeatedly crossed Beaconsfield Parade and returned toward Port Phillip Bay before being taken for assessment. The report does not identify its species.
