Observation: An original photograph is captioned as a seal at Narooma. The file's EXIF metadata dates the photograph to 12 August 2026. The caption does not identify its species.

Observation: A seal locally called Terry was photographed resting among rocks at Terrigal. An ORRCA account later described the Terrigal visitor as a juvenile New Zealand fur seal, correcting an initial suggestion of subantarctic fur seal.

Observation: A reported long-nosed fur seal was seen swimming and resting along the Cooks River. The retrospective account dates its first appearance to 22 February and describes subsequent movements along the waterway.
